Are you searching for more brain power like the Scarecrow, or are you in need of a heart as the Tinman was in the classic film the Wizard of Oz? Growing up I used to think that the people I met who made quick decisions based strictly on facts were far more intelligent than those people who would make emotional or “gut” decisions. Seems I was wrong. Leaders who lead with their heart have more passion, more energy, and more intellect – believe it or not. Case in point, my recent interview with the extraordinarily gifted Therese Tappouni not only reinforced my thoughts – but I now have a deeper understanding as to why this is.

“Your energy field reaches approximately eight feet from your heart, the energy field that surrounds your brain only reaches about one inch,” says Therese Tappouni. I promise you – you’ll gain insight listening to Therese – she definitely leads from the heart and believe me she is far smarter than those who only use their brains. I know that sounds funny, but it makes sense when you consider all the factors of heart-based leadership vs. brain-based leadership.

Think of the rewards if your energy field is expanded just from following and trusting your heart in gathering intelligence and decision making. I believe we can all benefit greatly from an expanded and positive energy field. Watch the show and see for yourself and begin to use these new techniques in your life. Do keep me posted on your progress my friends.

Therese Tappouni is the author of six books. Her most recent book focuses on her own personal life tragedy with the goal of helping others “The Gifts of Grief: Finding Light in the Darkness of Loss”. She is a licensed HeartMath™ Provider, a board certified hypnotherapist, and the founder of Whole Heart. I really like her message – Therese is one of those fortunate ones who can lead with both the heart and her brain!
