The power of positive thinking can work wonders, unless it’s up against physics. Fire walking is about mind over matter: you repeat a mantra and walk slowly across the coals, and your feet don’t get burned (or at least that’s the concept). For instance when your bare skin touches hot burning coals, most often you’ll get burned. But can you convince yourself that you will not get burned? Seems my first inclination on positive thinking vs. physics is correct. But taking the physics out of it, I will suggest to you that the power of positive thinking far outweighs a meager existence. The fact is when you take your agenda one step further than you ordinarily would, you’ll already be in a position of strength.
Listen – I’m always telling you to Make the Leap – well here is your chance – if it’s me and there is a row of hot coals in front of me – why fire walk on them when I can leap over them! When are you going to make the leap?
